Jill Schroeder CPT, CMES

About

Hi! My name is Jill Schroeder and I am the founder of Jill Schroeder Training. With over 16 years of experience in the fitness industry, I am regarded as an expert. I am a certified Personal Trainer and Medical Exercise Specialist, and also hold degrees in Biology and Psychology from Stony Brook University.

Alongside my certifications and education, I have had the honor of being named The Suffolk Times “Business Person of the Year”, as well as East End Women’s Network “Woman of the Year”. You may also recognize me from JABS, a group fitness and personal training studio that I founded, owned, and operated from 2011-2022.

When I am not torturing others, I enjoy participating in 5K, 10K, and obstacle course races. I recently completed my first Half Marathon, the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon!

Career

In 2007, I became a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. In addition to torturing clients one-on-one, I held group fitness classes at various locations in the community. This multifaceted approach enabled me to attract over 100 people per class!

In 2011, I opened JABS, the first boutique fitness facility on the East End. JABS welcomed thousands of people from all wanting to be part of this sweaty experience. This allowed me to become an integral part of the local community by supporting, and even hosting, charities and charity events.

In 2022, JABS transformed into Jill Schroeder Training, where I now focus on Personal Training and Medical Exercise!

Philanthropy

Since the beginning of my career, I have helped raise over $250,000 for local and national charities; held fundraisers for catastrophic national events; and donated countless hours to the local community, 5k race events, and school fundraisers. I look forward to continuing to support my community, and other charitable endeavors.

List of organizations that I have been part of: The American Heart Association, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundations, The American Cancer Society, Cycle for Survival, Project Fit America, Eastern Long Island Hospital, Northwell Health, The North Fork Animal Welfare League, The North Fork Country Kids Rescue, The Butterfly Project, Kait’s Angels, The Lung Cancer Research Foundation, and so many more. Fundraisers for catastrophic events include Hurricane Sandy, Boston Marathon Victims, the Pulse Nightclub Shooting, and more.
